With their cutting-edge technology, the university’s climate research group has developed an agricultural risk early warning system for rural farmers. This system provides crucial information to prepare farmers against climate change disasters and agricultural risks.

The University established a ground-receiving station connected to the European Meteorological Satellite (EUMETSAT) in Germany for real-time climate and environmental data. The data is analyzed and transmitted through a mobile application developed for the smartphones provided for the farmers. The information dissemination enables timely alerts to be sent to farmers. The university’s initiative empowers local farmers with knowledge, helping them adapt and make informed decisions in the face of unpredictable weather patterns.
